
ROSHANI is a multi-instrumentalist and independent recording artist known for her genre- blending approach that incorporates elements of blues, soul, folk, and electronic music.
She performs as a one-woman band using loop stations, foot pedals, guitars, synths, harmonica, and vocal harmonies to create layered, full-spectrum live performances.
Born in Sri Lanka and adopted at six weeks old, she was raised in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia.
Her adoption story and musical journey have been featured in national media, including a segment on 60 Minutes Australia, which has reached over 10 million viewers globally.
She developed her solo show while living and touring in a van, busking across Australia and building a grassroots following.
ROSHANI has released nine studio albums, all independently produced. Her latest album, HUMAN, showcases a range of styles, from blues-rock to dark soul and electronic-infused arrangements. The project was written, performed, and produced solely by ROSHANI in her home
studio, reflecting her full creative control over the process.
In 2022, she was named "Breakthrough Artist" at Byron Bay Bluesfest, one of Australia's premier music festivals. She has performed at major venues and festivals around the country. Her live sets feature real-time arrangement and multi-instrumental performance,offering a technically complex show built on self-contained production.
